Prompts Needed : Written (5+)
Preparation :
- Five or more written prompts should be chosen ahead of time and then written down and placed (folded up) inside a hat (or other container). The topics can be anything that could be presented, or responded to, in no more than 15 or 20 seconds. A hat can be used, but any other container from which the topics can be pulled would work.
Procedure(s) :
- A spectator or moderator reaches into the hat/container, pulls out a written prompt, and reads it to the actors. The actors take turns presenting (or responding to) the prompts.
Closure :
- The game ends when the prompts run out or when the time limit is reached.
Variations :
- Increase/decrease the number of actors, limit the number of responses per written prompt, limit the number of written prompts used, require that no actor can present/respond to the same prompt twice in a row, require every actor to respond at least once (or only once) to each written prompt, or alter the time limit.
